  Hmm tough situation! If she smokes even a little, does she feel guilty about it or fine? If she feels fine then she is able to think for herself. Build on that.

  ive been pondering my beliefs for a while now and ive come across things that i just cant accept.

  i was recently walking with a christian who stated that the universe couldnt just come from nothing.

  he said that the universe was so complex that it needed a designer, he also said something which ive heard before.

  Congrats!

  It's funny, I think it was a conversation with an uber Christian that helped me realize I was an atheist, too. Just being able to poke holes in their arguments and reasons for believing... It's too easy.

  i have heard that line of rubbish more times from the platform, especially around this time of year.

  yet, given the number of children with few or no toys, about 90% of the time, they get little or nothing year round.

  sometimes it is because of poverty, often induced because the parents are supposed to cut back on their work and pious-sneer or donate excessive amounts to the worldwide pedophile defense fund (or both).

  DS211, don't bother. You've mace a great point, which QC wikindly ignore and go on to make more absurd assertions to which he will will provide zero facts. If you're willing to play his game, go ahead. Many of us have given up.

  On the bright side, this thread may hopefully have opened some eyes to the poor argument creationists can present. Just more baseless assertions.

  after all of them i have realized, all of you have made me realized that after all of the stuff i have been through, i just need a good friend.
